In the year 1964 Mr.Hiralal D Patel started the timber trading in kadur , Chickamangalore Dist, Karnataka State, India. Since the founder envisioned a huge opportunity for timber trade in Bangalore, Sri Ganesh Timber Traders was established in the year 1982.
Ganesh Timber Traders has its own saw mill premises in One acre of own Land Located in New Timber Yard Layout, Mysore Road Cross, Bangalore equipped with all types of machineries for cutting round logs, plaining, surfacing and spindle machine for wood processing. The saw mill has ample storage capacity backed by efficient manpower to ensure prompt service as per customer choice and satisfaction.
In India the timber imports started in the year 1985, so after Identifying the need for backward integration only to serve the customers with competitive price Ganesh Timber Traders started its imports in the year 1994. The finest quality of timbers has been made easy accessible to the consumers.
Due to increase in demand of timber, In the year 2004 we came up with a new setup at Timber yard layout, Mysore Road.
The Company made its presence at Mangalore port in the year 1994 for Importing and Exporting and since then GTT have hold its position as one of the largest importer in South India of Timber from various countries which includes Africa, Burma, Malaysia, Indonesia, Europe and American Countries, the company is one of the major importer of Burma teak in India.
The company is not only the direct importers of woods but is also one of the leading retail dealers in Bangalore. It also supplies any kind of wood related needs under one roof. At present the company has two Branch Offices in Bangalore and one Sales Depot in Mangalore.
